4. DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND/OR SERVICES 

Vermont VerGin SA is an online marketer of small-batch, artisanal, 0% alcohol distilled organic botanical spirits and handpicked add-ons. 

5. SECURITY OF CREDIT CARD DETAILS 

Credit card transactions are processed via Payfast (Pty) Ltd. Payfast uses the highest level of encryption, PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliant, 3D Secure, and other security protocols. For more information, please refer to Payfast's Security Policy. 

6. CUSTOMER DETAILS 

Your details will be stored separately from your card details, which are entered on Payfast’s secure site. For further information on Payfast, please refer to Payfast. 

7. MERCHANT TRANSACTION CURRENCY 

Vermont VerGin SA only accepts orders from South Africa. All transactions are in South African Rand (ZAR). 

8. VERMONT VERGIN SA’S PROMISE 

Vermont VerGin SA takes full responsibility for the sale of goods and services on this website, including customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods. 

9. PRIVACY POLICY

10. PAYMENT OPTIONS 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Visa and Maestro debit cards, as well as Instant EFT. 

11. DISCLAIMER 

Vermont VerGin SA is not responsible for issues arising from inadequate internet connection, browser software, or disruptions caused by third parties, such as your Internet Service Provider (ISP). We also do not guarantee that the site will be error-free or free from bugs, viruses, or interruptions. We do not refund payments for access issues related to these problems.

15. DELIVERY DETAILS 

We deliver door-to-door across South Africa. We only use reputable third-party logistics partners to ensure that your order arrives in excellent condition. 

16. SHIPPING [Updated April 2025] 

We deliver nationwide within South Africa. 

  • Free courier delivery for orders over R2280. 
  • Local Delivery (Hermanus, Stanford, Gansbaai, Bredasdorp): R80 
  • Courier to all other areas: R150 
  • Delivery surcharge may apply to remote areas. 

17. COLLECTIONS 

We do not offer a Click and Collect service. 

18. DELIVERY LEAD TIMES 

  • Cape Town area: 2-4 working days 
  • Main centres: 3-6 working days 
  • Outlying areas: 4-7 working days 

Urgent Deliveries: If you require urgent delivery, please contact us for overnight courier services (charges apply). 

19. REFUND POLICY 

We do not offer refunds simply due to customer preference. We cannot guarantee that all customers will have the same taste preferences. 

20. REPLACING GOODS 

In case of damaged goods upon receipt, please refuse delivery and notify us immediately at hello@verginsa.co.za, providing pictures of the damage. We will resolve the issue promptly by sending a replacement. 

21. RETURNS POLICY 

Each batch of VerGin is certified and inspected for safety. Please follow the product storage and usage instructions. Our products have a 5-year shelf life when stored correctly. 

22. AGREEMENT CHANGES 

Vermont VerGin SA may change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. 

23. SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITION RULES 

  • Only South African residents are eligible. 
  • Prizes will be delivered within South Africa. 
  • Employees of Vermont VerGin SA or associated companies are not eligible. 
  • No cash alternatives for prizes unless explicitly stated. 
  • All entrants must be 18 years or older. 

24. UPDATING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect once posted on this website. Continued use of the site signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
